I came home a couple days ago to find a doortag thing in my mailbox stating that as of tomorrow the water in my building would be turned off for less than 75 hours. Seriously dudes?! I have two Peruvain girls living here and Becky is coming tonight too, and it's break so not a whole lot of people are in town, and no one that would be okay with letter two strangers and/or Becky shower at their place. I wish they'd waited till the weekened or whatever.

My plan of attack is to buys paper plates, solo cups and plastic utensils and gallons of water. (Mission accomplished!) I made a huge pot of mac n' cheese to heat up for dinner some night and I am filling the teapot full of water before it's shut off. We also have pizzas, and I am going to ask my guests to pitch in for sandwich stuff I think. We are going to the gym to shower pissing whevener and however we can!

So it's Spring Break...and two Peruvian girls are living with me!

No Mike or Liz, but Becky will be here Tuesday too. So it'll be fun. 

Um,  not much else is new. I kind of want to get out of Keene for a day or two though. I haven't been outside Keene except for the Plymouth interviews since Christmas. Maybe next week. That's the beauty of being a part-time student.

Andy and went through at least half the CD library at WKNH and burned  it to my computer. It's awesome! 

Feeling stuffy and I had a headache for awhile. I really feel it when I bend over or hold my head in any position that isn't face forward. Ick. It'll pass. Ibprofen helps. 

Striked my last faculy production last night. Weird. 

Sorry kids, not very excitab;e today. Blaaaah. 

Michael gets back from Vegas tomorrow. Weee.

I so suck at keeping this up-to-date. Sorry kids, some days I just want to check my e-mail and go to bed.

Starting to see people again. It's fun to hang out with friends again.

Music Director for WKNH. It's sweet--I get $50 stipend every other weel for listening to music...or not listening to music and claiming its crap before putting it in the free bin.
So much metal. I don't want it. We have a room full of it. Blah.

Gotta remember to rip CDs from the station onto my computer. It's free music!
Been playing Onion radio news broadcasts on my show. They are HYSTERICAL. Like there's this one about how some guy bored the pants off his date?! No, really. Ya'll should tune on it. WKNH FM 91.3. Every Tuesday night from 10 till Midnight, except not next Tuesday. And we're streaming online at wknh.org.

Um...in tech for The Dining Room. Feels good but weird to be designing again. Such a small design...I have 7 cues. As opposed to the 28 or whatever I had for Hothouse.

Um, not much going on really. It's purty outside today. Hope spring comes soon. I wanna wear shorts and ride my board barefoot again!

I received my info for ACTF stage management stuff. I'm stage managing a 10-minute play called Deer Crossing, and I'm working with a professional director. Ooh lala! I could also be asking to stage manage other events.

Matchmaker shows that Friday. Excited Excited. I have so much work to do. And no printer cable...damn!

So I had a full Turn it up card. I got Icky Thump by the White Stripes, whatever the new Flaming Lips album is...um, a Raconteurs Album, One Hot Minute by Red Hot Chili Peppers, and two cassettes: Yes by Morphine and Return of Saturn by No Doubt. No Doubt on cassette , guys! Unbelieveable!
 
Damn...need to apply for jobs for when school ends...or something. 

Anyone know what it would take to be a foley artist for a film? Like, get a real job on a real film set? Foley artist seems most promising, as I have used foley in both the sound designs I have done. Just a possibility I was thinking of for the future.

Finally going home today, and will be back the day after Xmas. Pretty much, it's enough time to explode my stomach from free food, drink with the Dad, hang with the fam, and get free stuff. Yeaaaah holidays. 

Won't have my show this week 'cause I'm going to Plymouth...sorry, oh few listeners. 

Got an A in Film Analysis. Love to know what I got on my paper grade though, considering I wrote about one film from memory only.

Wanna get back into hemp jewelery making. It's fun, lets me unwind a bit, and I'm a woman that loves bling. Come to think of it, I'm much more of a lady than I ever thought I'd grow up to be. Weird thought. You're talking to a chick who, when she was a young girl, screamed and pissed and moaned at the thought of wearing a bra. Hahah.

Tried something new for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was beautiful...like walking through Photoshop.

Kinda broke down yesterday due to stress about life after school, not having a car, etc. Liz was awesome as always. Made me realize a lot of things, and I'm finally realizing I worry too damn much. Now I'm going to work on acknowledging that some things are out of my control, and that's okay.

Alright, looks like it's time for me to work on some ACTF stuff. I gots a lot.

Hey all, realized I had more to say as believe it or not, it seems as I do have a life outside of theatre.

Got an AB in Rendering for the Theatre...still waiting on film anaylsis, but I'm expecting about the same.

I'm a DJ at WKNH 91.3 now. My show is 10-Midnight every Monday and Tuesday...tonight will actually be my first time on air. Hope no one's listening. =X I neeed to think of a cool DJ name...at least my show has a name..."Opposite of Negative." Hey, saying "Postive" would be way, way too easy and uncool, okay?!

Michael and I exchanged gifts since he went home yesterday. I gave him 3 vinyls...Bob Marley. "Let It Be" by the Beatles, and Tears for Fears. I'm the greatest girlfriend ever...and antique stores rule. He gave me a Perry Bible Fellowship comic book...without knowing I liked the PBF. Fungamazing. I knew I kept him around for some reason.

Liz keeps telling me I'm going to love my present. My sister sent me a package and forbade me to open it until Xmas. Brats, the both of them! =P Lovelove ya both.

God. So much shit to get done this vacation.

Sooooo I got nominated for KCACTF again--twice! I'm going for my Hothouse sound design AND for Matchmaker!!! So I have to pull together presentations for both, send the guy a letter and resume....And once I'm there, I have to do one presentation for each. Then all the stage managers have to stage manage an event and possibly interview with an equity stage manager.

I'M SO EXCITED!!!

Wow. I just finished one hell of a show. And I love design, really I do, but now I know what my forte is and what I want to really pursue.
...I have to think about what I'm doing this summer/after school. Damn. Scary thought.

By the by...PR entered the production itself into ACTF. It's being held in the pool of shows that are being considered to go. 1300 shows enter themselves in and 3 are selected. Problem if we are sleected is, we had community memebers in our show that would be hard if not impossible to cover for.
Ah, well. We'll see what happens.

Bah. Cold weather needs to die!!  Definately dropped $66 on winter boots and gloves...it's expensive, this whole stayin' alive concept. But hot cocoas and lattes are a must as well as delicious.

Love Love LOVE the new place! It's with 2 of the greatest people on the planet. It's incredible. =D Only thing left to figure out is how the hell can I get mail? I can't put my name on the mailbox because the landlord can't know I live there. I can't get a P.O. box becuase you need proof of your address, and the lease isn't in my name. I actually think it'll be okay since I gt mail at my last apartment and my name wasn't on the box. But there was the check I still haven't gotten, maybe becuase my name wasn't on the box...eeeh, whatevs. 

Attepting to get a job at Starbucks tomorrow. Full benefits? Yes please! Also might try a data entry job...I found a site that looks legit. I need to save up for a car, and Hanny's isn't cutting it. 

Oh, Imma gonna be a DJ for WKNH! Mike is forcing me to. =P 
 Looked at the course requirements to be a film major and minor today. Not so sure I can make either fit in less than three extra years...damn.

Woke up feeling a lil shitty, and tempted to call out of work tomorrow because I haven't had personal time in forever. But last time I tried to call out because I was sick, she made me come in anyway. But all the high schoolers that felt OK and just wanted to play hookie (sp?) got to call out of work. Fuckin' kids.

Frustrating Rehearsal last night. Pffft. Drama queens throwing props and stamping their feet and yelling at the director to get their way. 

ON THE UPSIDE!

Got a new laptop! It's a Dell Studio 15 with Vista, and it's plum. The color, I mean.

Rediscovered my Pacman earring. Yesterday morning was beautiful for just that reason.

Moving in with Soldati and Liz soon! So pumped. So, so incredibly pumped.

Talked to Craig about what happened. So glad I get to have one more class with that guy before I graduate.

{syched to see Fat Men in Skirts Tuesday. It's agonna kick serious assss. And I'm proud of Liz...amazinf designer, amazing actress, and this time, she isn't playing a 12-year-old. =P

I. Love. Fall. I love needing to wear a sweatshirt all the time. It's like a big kid's blankie. But it's still not cold enough for boots and gloves and actual coats. Thank God. Hate being bogged down in winter gear. And the extra cold nip feels great.

Ordered a new computer, since I think mine got stolen. It's a Dell Studio 15 and it looks spiffay. Should arrive within 7 days.

Stage managemnt is finally getting somewhat frustrating. Nothing I can't handle, though. 

Uuum...Soldati asked me to move in with him?! I said yes...but I want to make sure he's 100% on this before we talk to Liz, our landlords, and my roommates.

Today I discovered that I love drawing with pen and ink. And it's awesome in color, too.

Ooh, and I get a slightly bigger paycheck tomorrow! So I can buy food...gah, so excited. I'm down to mac n' cheese, spaghetti, rice, and teriyaki sauce. Could be worse, but I seriously want more than carbs in my diet.

Trying to save for a car, because I'm not looking forward to walking everywhere in the winter and I'm going to try to go for my license after the show, I think. (I'm a little too booked to try for it right now.) Especially since I now have to go to Keene District Court on November 5th for getting caught driving without a license. =X  So the judge may make me go get it. Which isn't a bad thing at all. I'm kind of afraid of the size of the fine I might get, though, if I do get one. The rents still don't know, but if they'd helped me get it in the first place I wouldn't be in the situation I'm in.  

Oh, got my final paper assignment for Film Analysis. I think I might write about an autuer, and I'm debating between Don Roos ("The Opposite of Sex" and "Happy Endings") or Robert Rodriguez ("Sin Cty" and El Mariachi"). Actually, I kind of want to write about the guy that directed "Pan's Labrynth"....

I know it's strange and assenine but now I feel that, since I haven't posted in forever, I should write SOMETHING on LJ.

So nothing new is up...other than I am an awesome stage manager. Probably the first one that could get along with PR since a few years ago. And I am on top of mah shiiiiiit.

Classes are fun. I love Rendering for the Theatre--it's like art history rolled in with drawing I and II. And holy surprises Batman, I can draw! Celine is a much better art teacher than anybody. Oh and Film Analysis rocks socks. Podlesney is AMAZING and I think I did pretty well on my exam the other day. We watched "Happy Endings" and it's officially one of my new favorite movies. Oh and speaking of movies, I learned the difference between movies and films---boy, am I schmart. Haha honestly, I feel like it's something I should have known already, but oh well, now I do. 

Soldati wants me to be in his non-dancer piece. Kinda squeamish about it, I have a thing about performing. Stage fright. But Jill and Ben are in it too, so I dunno. Might not be so bad. I told Mike I'd go to the first rehearsal at least. 

P.S. Susanne, you were so right. I haven't gotten real food yet, but I am so in love with Food Frenzy. 

Ugh, need a new job. Working 20mhours a week when I'm available 40 is bull. 

My birthday is Sunday. 22, holy shit. I don't consider it a big deal, but I do consider it an excuse to drink. So I'm grabbing a bunch of friends and we're hitting the bar. Oh, and I found it mildly amusing that LJ let me know my birthday was coming up, and that I could send myself a gift. Sorry LJ, I'm a lush. I choose booze.

Auditions went well today. I have an ASM! She's great so far, her name's Jen, I already know her form around the department, and she's amazing thus far. I know Tiff wants to get cast, but a part of me hopes she doesn't so she can be my assistant.  We were ahead of schedule for most of auditions. Then PR wanted to keep some people for longer, and we ended up beign behind by 3-5 minutes (not bad for awhile, but we ended right on time anyways because there was a no-show. Too ba...at least the first night of auditions went well.

Except for one thing, on a more personal level. You know, I have been so understanding with him....ass. He was such an ass to do that.

Gah. So excited for Keene I can't sleep.

Wanna move into my apartment, though I'm unsure about my roommates. Whatevs, it's a place to live.

I wanna see my Jill, make sure she's okay. Surgery sounds rough, lady. Glad you made it.

I can't wait to see friends I haven't even talked to all summer. I miss you guys sooo much. What will I do when I graduate?

I get to figure out what the situation with Soldati and I is...not too worried about it though. Oh, and I wanna see this kilt in real life.

So pumped to stage manage a mainstage a production. And it's for the infamous PR!

Film analysis? I can't wait to walk into a classroom and analyze the shizah out of films. I miss actively discussing things...haven't really had it since Western Theatre Hist/Lit III.  Once again, I get to state opinions and make myself look smart! When I do that outside of a classroom setting, I think I sound pompous when I do that.

Arg, and I miss doing design-related things. Hopefully the artistic direction thing pans out for KTV's drama serial...Kyle is a director I'm looking forward to working with.
